Jody Morris and Dean Sinclair are on trial at Charlton Athletic as Alan Pardew continues to look for new signings.

The midfield duo started Charlton's 2-0 friendly win over Welling on Wednesday and played 66 minutes of the pre-season encounter.

Morris is available on a free transfer after being released by Millwall, having previously played for Chelsea and Leeds United.

Sinclair has turned down a new contract at Barnet and has been tracked by a string of Championship clubs.

Norwich City, Queens Park Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday have all been linked with a bid for the young midfielder.

Danish striker Nicholas Pedersen from Herfolge was a third trialist to feature after coming on as a second-half substitute.

Pardew has been active in the transfer market over the summer, but the Charlton boss is still chasing further additions to his squad.
