Dennis Rommedahl remains confident that Charlton will win their battle to stay in The Premiership.

The Addicks are six points off safety but their recent form under Alan Pardew has been hugely encouraging with seven points from five games - which included clashes with Manchester United and Chelsea.

Their last outing saw a convincing 4-0 win over relegation rivals West Ham and with bottom of the table Watford the opposition this weekend - Rommedahl is convinced The Addicks can stay up.

"It looks okay right now, the win at the weekend gave us the confidence back," Rommedahl told Viasatsport.

"We are now facing Watford and we have also got Wigan at home soon. I believe we will make it

"Additionally, we have already met the big guns, we have just got Liverpool left in the last match and then it is surely decided."

Rommedahl was pleased with the win over West Ham, but admitted disappointment at being dropped.

"It was wonderful to see the side win convincingly," he added.

"But it's never nice to be dropped just before the kick-off. It's obvious that I am disappointed about that."
