Charlton skipper Luke Young has admitted Saturday's clash with West Ham will be the biggest game of his life.

Young is set to make his first start since December at The Valley against fellow strugglers West Ham after recovering from injury.

The England international accepts the crucial relegation showdown is a must-win game for both sides as Alan Curbishley makes his return to Charlton.

"This is probably the biggest game I've ever played in," he said.

"I'm gagging to get out there. I don't think either team will be happy with a point.

"We want three points. Anything less is unacceptable. So we're going out with all guns blazing."
