Dennis Rommedahl has invited FC Copenhagen to make a move for him if Charlton are relegated this season.

The Danish winger has made no secret of the fact that he has no desire to play in the Championship and The Addicks are currently six points shy of safety in the Premiership.

If Alan Pardew fails to revive Charlton and eventually presides over their demotion, then Rommedahl admits he will be seeking an immediate exit from The Valley.

FC Copenhagen have been linked with a move for the winger and a return to Denmark certainly appeals to the player.

"I will be honest, I didn't come to England to play in the second division," Rommedahl told BT.

"I also doubt that the club can keep many of us anyway if we get relegated.

"I will not rule out a return to Denmark, if FCK are interested in me they can talk to me."
