CRYSTAL PALACE manager Trevor Francis is expecting the Selhurst Park switchboard lights to start flashing now the transfer window is open.

Several Eagles stars are attracting the interest of Premiership clubs but Francis is determined to keep his fine crop of youngsters.

He said: "We have a good squad of young players, and I know when you put some results together people are going to take notice.

"But I am hoping that we won't have to lose anybody."

Julian Gray has already been strongly linked with Charlton, while Hayden Mullins and Wayne Routledge are also attracting interest.
