PREMIERSHIP outfit Charlton Athletic are reported to be keen on signing Barnet goalkeeper Lee Harrison.
Addicks boss Alan Curbishley is interested in strengthening his squad at The Valley and he would like cover in the goalkeeping position for Dean Kiely, with current number two Sasa Ilic out injured.
If Harrison was to move to Charlton it would cap a remarkable return for the player, after he was released by the Addicks in 1992 on a free transfer to Fulham.
The 29-year-old stopper failed to establish himself during his traineeship at the club, not making a single appearance in the first team, and he was loaned out to Fulham and Gillingham before moving to Craven Cottage.
Harrison then joined Barnet in 1996 on a free transfer and he soon established himself as number one keeper, making 162 appearances for The Bees.
Barnet player-manager Tony Cottee would like to hold onto Harrison but if he received a substantial offer from Charlton it is thought he would probably sell the keeper.
