Florent Cuvelier has expressed his delight at returning to action with Sheffield United following 11 months out with a serious injury.

Despite not featuring for the Blades since injuring his cruciate ligament while on loan at Port Vale in January, the former Belgium under-21 international came off the bench on Saturday to set up the final goal during the 3-0 FA Cup win against Plymouth. "It's a fantastic feeling to be back playing," Cuvelier told the club's official website. "There were quite a few mixed emotions but, after 11 months hard work in the gym, I said to myself 'you are ready'. "The hard work has now paid off and I feel it's transformed me into a stronger person, both physically and mentally." The 22-year-old has only made five starts for United since joining in September 2013.
