Sheffield United slumped to a 4-0 defeat at Burton in their opening pre-season friendly.
Blades boss Nigel Clough, who used to manage Burton, gave 22 members of his squad 45 minutes each at the Pirelli Stadium. However, Burton raced into a 3-0 half-time lead and added a fourth late on. Alex MacDonald, Lucas Akins, Dominic Knowles and Louis Cutajar were on target for the League Two hosts.
