Sheffield United's new signing Ben Davies has targeted promotion as League One champions next season.
The 33-year-old defender has signed a one-year deal with the club after spending the final two-and-a-half months of last season on loan from Derby, where he played under current Blades boss Nigel Clough.
"There was an option or two to stay in the Championship, but this is a sideways step because this is a club on the up and you know what you get when you work with the gaffer," he told the club's official website.
"I have played over 100 games for him and he was a massive reason I joined on loan in February.
"Now I want to come back and be a part of a promotion-winning side next season, the target is to win League One."
