Sky Sports understands Dagenham & Redbridge striker Sam Williams has turned down a new deal at the club.
Williams, who is out of contract this summer, was offered fresh terms to extend his stay at the League Two outfit, but he has snubbed their offer.
The news is sure to alert a number of clubs to Williams' possible availability on a free transfer this summer.
Sheffield United are thought to be one of several sides interested in Williams, who played a key role in helping Dagenham survive in League Two this season.
Former Aston Villa youngster Williams joined Dagenham in the summer of 2011, scoring 11 goals in 43 appearances.
