Sheffield United winger Erik Tonne has been handed an opportunity to impress on trial by Norwegian side HamKam.
The 21-year-old joined the Blades in 2011 but has found first-team football hard to come by.
He hopes a return to his homeland will breathe new life into his career, with it important for him to get games.
HamKam concede that no permanent deal will be possible, but are open to the idea of taking Tonne on loan.
A statement released on the club's official website read: "The 21-year-old winger Erik Tonne is coming over from Sheffield United to audition.
"He signed an extension with Sheffield in 2012 until the summer of 2014, so it will only be a matter of a loan if a move is discussed."
