Sky Sports understands that Crystal Palace are lining up an approach for Sheffield United striker Nick Blackman.
The 23-year-old only linked up with the Blades last summer, but has impressed during his short time at Bramall Lane.
He has already broken into double figures for the season in terms of goals scored, and has helped spearhead a League One promotion push.
The former Blackburn trainee is now attracting interest from further up the Football League ladder, with Palace prepared to offer him a shot at the Championship.
It is understood that several bids have already been put to Sheffield United, with the Blades now set to decide whether or not they are prepared to part with their most potent attacking weapon.
