Hill wants focus against Vale

Defender Matt Hill insists Sheffield United will not take Port Vale for granted when they meet in the FA Cup second round this weekend.

The former Bristol City man has made 17 appearances for the Blades this campaign, having sealed a permanent switch to Bramall Lane in the summer. Danny Wilson's men have only kept one clean sheet in their last five games and Hill admits they will need to be on top form to keep out the League Two top scorers. He told the Sheffield Telegraph: "It's going to be a hard-fought game for various different reasons but it's one we are determined to win. "You can't take anything for granted in this business and we don't want to find ourselves on the end of a so-called shock result. "You've only got to look at where they are in the division to know that they're obviously a very strong and well organised team."
