Blades return delights Collins

Sheffield United defender Neill Collins is delighted to be back in action after a recent spell in hospital.

The 29-year-old spent six days on a drip as he battled the effects of an infected toe, but after coming on as a substitute against Preston last week, he made his return to the starting XI in Monday's 1-0 win over Portsmouth. "It's very good to be back, I am not someone who gets injured too often so I am so glad to be back and taking part again," Collins said. "We had been going along very well and then I ended up spending six days in hospital. Being out for longer than I thought gave us a jolt, but the lads that came in did well and did a good job. "I think the manager wanted to get me 100 per cent right before bringing me back, but I was raring to go and I was glad I could come back and help the team."
