Moore: Wallace's Prem material

Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore believes captain James Wallace has the talent to return to Premier League level.

Everton academy product Wallace enjoyed a spell on loan with Rovers last year and made the switch from Goodison Park a permanent one this summer. Moore rewarded him with the captain's armband and has not been disappointed as the 20-year-old midfielder has been one of Tranmere's leading lights on their way to the League One summit. "He's a good player, he leads by example and he's a good talker," Moore said. "You don't usually get 20-year-old who want to speak, they keep themselves very quite. But he's a mouthy Scouser if you like - he's in the dressing room. "He will definitely go back to where he's come from, that Premier League level. All he needs is games really. He could have stay at Everton but decided to cut the ties and make a living for himself properly in league football."
