Millwall have signed Sheffield United midfielder Nick Montgomery on a loan deal that will keep him at the New Den until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old, a one-club man who has made 395 appearances for the Blades since 2000, will move to south London for the rest of the season.
He will not have to travel far to make his debut, though, with the Lions heading to Doncaster on Tuesday night for what could be a crucial relegation showdown.
Manager Kenny Jackett made his move for Montgomery with midfielders Liam Trotter, Therry Racon and Tamika Mkandawire all currently sidelined through injury.
Jackett has also allowed winger Chris Hackett to extend his loan spell with Wycombe until the end of the season.
