Danny Wilson expects on-loan defender Matt Hill to make a major contribution to Sheffield United's promotion challenge this season.
Hill, 30, has started in all three of the Blades' games since being drafted in from Blackpool until the end of the season earlier this month to help ease a spate of injuries and suspensions at the club.
Wilson said: "The one thing you get with Matty, and I worked with him down at Bristol City when he was a kid, is wholehearted displays, he's a very committed player.
"He's a fantastic person, a tremendous team player and if anyone's seen him without a smile on his face I'd like to know when that was.
"I've never seen him down. He's great to have around the dressing room and offers a great deal as well. He understands this league and offers a great deal of experience. He'll do very well for us."
