Burton have signed Sheffield United midfielder Matthew Harriott on a one-month loan deal.

The 19-year-old has featured just twice as a substitute for his parent club since his move from Luton in the summer of 2010 and arrives at the Pirelli Stadium in search of more regular first-team football. Harriott goes straight into the squad for Burton's clash with Port Vale on Tuesday, and Brewers manager Paul Peschisolido was delighted to have landed his man. He said: "He's a young lad who I've watched a few times now in reserve team games. He brings us athleticism in the middle of the park which is something I think we need."
