Tranmere have extended the loan deal of Everton midfielder James Wallace by a further month.
Wallace has made five appearances since joining Rovers last month and he admits he is pleased to extend his stay. "I think I am learning with every game I play and hopefully it is helping me as a player," he told Wirral News. "The idea is to get as much experience as I can so when I go back to Everton, the manager will look at me and think I have learned a lot." The young midfielder is enjoying playing in competitive fixtures and has slotted seamlessly in to the squad. But with his deal now extended, Wallace is targeting a return to Rovers' early season form. "It has been easy settling in here. A few of the lads are Scousers anyway and I knew a few of them before I came here. Also my cousin (Greg Blundell) is the physio. I would love to help us get back up the table, to where we were early in the season." "Playing for points in League One is totally different to playing reserve team football at Everton. When you're playing for points, every game means a lot."
