Sheffield United midfielder Erik Tonne has joined Blue Square Bet Premier side York on an emergency loan.
The 20-year-old Norwegian, signed from Strindheim early last year, signed a new contract with the Blades last month to keep him at the club until the summer of 2014. Tonne has yet to start a league game for the Blades, but has made four substitute appearances in total and has twice featured in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy off the bench this season.
