Wallace aims to boost Shrews

James Wallace is desperate to pull on a Shrewsbury shirt once again and show what he can do.

The on-loan Everton midfielder, 19, was sent off just 25 minutes into his Shrews debut at Dagenham & Redbridge at the start of November and has not featured since. A subsequent three-match ban saw his miss the games against Newport, Northampton and Morecambe before being denied permission by his parent club to feature in last weekend's FA Cup victory over Rotherham. But Wallace, with his initial month-long deal extended into a second month, finally comes back into contention for Saturday's trip to Aldershot. "I'm dying to get on the pitch for Shrewsbury and show what I can do," he told Town's official website. "The Aldershot game is one I'm looking forward to and hopefully I'll get some involvement. "It's been frustrating getting sent off in the first game but I've been training and building up for when I hopefully get a chance to do well."
