Danny Wilson is hopeful he will be able to keep highly-rated striker Jordan Slew at Sheffield United.
Slew has caught the attention of many Premier League clubs following his influential performances in the Blades' run to the FA Youth Cup final but Wilson is confident he will be able to keep the youngster at Bramall Lane. Wilson told The Sheffield Star: "We are still talking and fighting our corner. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the deal we have offered him will tempt him to stay. "He is raw potential at this moment in time. He is not the finished article and Jordan knows that himself. We feel he has still got a lot to learn and that the best place for him to continue his education is here."
