Walsall defender Darryl Westlake is pleased to have opened his goalscoring account for the Saddlers.
The 19-year-old equalised with his first goal for the Saddlers in a 1-1 draw with Oldham at Banks's Stadium after the Latics went ahead through Filipe Morais.
Speaking to the club's official website, Westlake said: "To see the ball hit the back of the net was fantastic. It was even better that it came in front of our own supporters.
"The last time I scored was for the youth team about three years ago so it's been a bit of a wait!
"We really want to give the supporters something to shout about. They can see what we are trying to do and are so important to us."
