Midfielder Matt Spring could be set for a move to Championship strugglers Charlton, skysports.com understands.
Spring is currently on a season-long loan deal with Sheffield United from Luton.
His displays for the Bramall Lane outfit have attracted the interest of the Addicks who are ready to offer him a two-year deal at The Valley.
Charlton boss Phil Parkinson is eager to bolster his squad as he looks to lift the club off the foot of the Championship table.
Spring started his career with Luton before moving on to Leeds and Watford and then returning to Kenilworth Road in a £200,000 deal in January 2007.
He joined the Blades on a season-long loan last summer and has made 13 appearances so far, scoring one goal.
