Sheffield United have offered a trial to French defender Mansour Assoumani.
The 25-year-old is currently available as a free agent and will be hoping to impress during his time with the Blades.
His career to date has taken in spells at Montpellier, in his homeland, and German outfits FC Saarbrucken and Siegen.
He was handed a 66-minute run-out for United's reserves on Wednesday, helping the Blades keep a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw.
With Kevin Blackwell yet to make a decision regarding his future, Assoumani is likely to feature for the second string again before a verdict is reached.
