Experienced defender Chris Lucketti has signed a two-year contract with Huddersfield.
The 36-year-old has been granted a free transfer by Sheffield United after falling down the pecking order at Bramall Lane last season.
He spent two years with the Terriers earlier in his career and has now been brought back by manager Stan Ternent.
Lucketti linked up with Ternent at Bury, where he was club captain, before joining Huddersfield in 1999.
The centre-back becomes Ternent's fourth new signing of the summer, after Andy Butler, Keigan Parker and Jim Goodwin.
