Hungarian expresses delight at top-flight upsets

Barnsley striker Istvan Ferenczi says that this season's FA Cup run will forever remain etched in his memory. The Tykes have enjoyed an extraordinary campaign, claiming unforgettable triumphs over Premier League duo Liverpool and Chelsea. Simon Davey's men now face Cardiff City in the semi-finals at Wembley on Sunday 6th April. And Ferenczi has told Nemzeti Sport of his delight, saying: "The games against Liverpool and Chelsea will be an everlasting experience. "On the last training before the Chelsea game we were shivering to get a place in the line-up - I was the last to be named [by the manager] and I was overjoyed."

Hungary recall

Ferenczi's displays for Barnsley have earned him a recall to the Hungary squad for Wednesday's game against Slovenia. And the 30-year-old has admitted that Peter Varhidi's decision came as a surprise. "I was a bit surprised at the call-up because I know that the team is built upon young footballers so it's even more of a shock for me," Ferenczi continued. "It's not enough for me to show a satisfying performance - I have to play superbly."
