Scunthorpe have taken Sheffield United striker Geoff Horsfield on loan until the end of the season.
Horsfield, who has not played for the Blades in the Championship this campaign, will go straight into the Iron's squad for the home match against Charlton on Saturday.
The 34-year-old will join up with fellow Blade Mamadou Seck at Glanford Park, after he extended his temporary deal until May earlier this week.
Horsfield joined Sheffield United in a deal worth £1.2million from West Brom in May 2006.
He began his career at Halifax and counts Fulham, Birmingham and Wigan among his former clubs and he has spent time on loan with Leeds and Leicester.
As part of the deal, Horsfield will not be eligible to play against United when they meet Scunthorpe at Bramall Lane on 9th February.
