A host of clubs are readying bids for Sheffield United midfielder Nick Montgomery, skysports.com understands.
The 26-year-old has spent his entire career at Bramall Lane but is now ready to depart the South Yorkshire club.
Montgomery has started 17 games in the Championship for Bryan Robson's Blades, but it remains to be seen whether he will be a long-term part of the manager's plans.
Montgomery, who signed a new deal with the club last summer, is now attracting interest from Premier League and Championship clubs.
Wigan, Bolton, Barnsley and Stoke are among the clubs ready to make a move for Montgomery before the transfer window closes next week.
