Geoff Horsfield is reportedly a target for fallen Hungarian giants Ferencvaros.
Ferencvaros are set to be bought by Kevin McCabe - chairman of Sheffield United - later this month.
As part of the deal, McCabe is looking for player-exchanges and he has already brooked a deal which saw former Blade Paul Shaw move to Budapest.
Now with deal to takeover the club set to be completed next week, McCabe is keen to further expand the link-up and 34-year-old Horsfield could be one of the first players sent from Bramall Lane.
Luton Shelton has also being strongly linked, but reports in Hungary suggest Horsfield could be the first official move between the two clubs.
Former Wolves star Gabor Gyepes is also training with the club who are anxious to seal promotion back to the Hungarian top-flight.
Krisztian Lisztes is also believed to be a target as McCabe looks set to finance a number of deals to help bolster Fernecvaros' promotion push.
