Tony Mowbray has dismissed claims that Kevin Phillips is set to leave the club.
Kevin Phillips is the latest West Brom player to be linked with a move away from The Hawthorns, with Sheffield United reportedly showing an interest in the striker.
After last season's play-off final defeat, West Brom failed to secure an immediate return to the Premier League and are now in danger of losing some of their big-name players.
However, Baggies boss Tony Mowbray has dismissed claims that Phillips, Paul McShane and Paul Robinson are set to leave the club.
Mowbray said: "I know nothing about Kevin Phillips and Sheffield United nor McShane and Robinson and Sunderland."
Phillips' strike partner Diomansy Kamara is also rumoured to be closing in on a move to Fulham.
Further speculation surrounds the future of Curtis Davies, who recently handed in a transfer request, while midfielder Jason Koumas has made no secret of his desire to play top-flight football.
Mowbray remained defiant, adding: "There certainly hasn't been any contact, but I only want players who are proud to wear the shirt and want to play for their team-mates and supporters."
