Sheffield United new boy Colin Kazim-Richards has set his sights on a place in Neil Warnock's starting XI.
The former Bury hit-man made the move to The Premiership with The Blades before the summer transfer window closed last Thursday, leaving League One club Brighton & Hove Albion in a £150,000 deal.
The 20-year-old is hopeful he can make his debut in the top flight when the South Yorkshire club host Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
"I'm working hard to be in contention for the Blackburn game," Kazim-Richards told the club's official website.
"If I'm not involved, I won't be too disappointed because I'd have only been here for just over a week.
"I want to play in The Premiership, settle down and get into the side. It's a long season, so hopefully I can play my part for United."
