Derby boss Terry Westley is looking to extend the loan spells of both Alan Wright and Kevin Lisbie.
Sheffield United left back Wright and Charlton striker Lisbie have both impressed during their time at the Championship outfit and Westley has spoken to his counterpart at both clubs.
Both players are likely to remain at Derby, albeit with a 24-hour recall option, and while Westley concedes it is far from ideal - it is a stipulation he would concur on.
''We've spoken to Charlton and to Sheffield United about keeping the players until the end of the season and talks are ongoing,'' he said.
''It's possible the clubs may be keen to extend the loan deal, but with a 24-hour recall.
''That's not totally ideal for us but it may be the only way we can do this.''
