Sheffield United have been hit by a double injury blow ahead of their trip to Coventry City at the weekend.

Alan Quinn and Leigh Bromby will miss the game at the Ricoh Arena after picking up injuries in Friday's draw with Crewe Alexandra.

Both players had only just returned to action after previous injuries but are going to miss vital games as the club push for promotion to the Premiership.

Quinn will be sidelined for two weeks with an ankle injury while Bromby could be out for up to six weeks after scans revealed knee ligament damage.

The injuries could mean on-loan defender Neil Collins gets his chance in the back-four.
