Sheffield United youngster Stephen Quinn has rejoined Milton Keynes Dons on loan.

Quinn recently spent a month at The National Hockey Stadium and made five appearances for the League One strugglers.

He was then recalled to Bramall Lane by Blades boss Neil Warnock to play in the Carling Cup tie against Reading.

But he is heading back to MK Dons for the next two months, with the deal completed ahead of Saturday's game against Tranmere Rovers.

MK Dons manager Danny Wilson confirmed the midfielder's return but is unsure whether to select Quinn for the clash at Prenton Park.

"Quinn is coming back for training on Thursday and will sign on Friday," said Wilson.

"We'll have to wait and see if he's in the team because I thought the cup game was a terrific battle from the point of view of the lads."
