Sheffield United striker Steve Kabba has rejected a new deal at Bramall Lane.

Kabba's deal expires at the end of the current season and he is unhappy with the club's offer to extend his contract.

The former Crystal Palace striker has been inspirational in helping United to the top of The Championship and he was hoping to earn a long-term deal at the Yorkshire outfit.

Kabba is the second player to turn down a new deal following Paddy Kenny's decision to reject new terms and Blades boss Neil Warnock admitted the striker is holding out for a better offer from the club.

"It's a bit different with Steve because he has not played that many games in the last few seasons," said Warnock.

"Obviously he has his valuation and we do as well. At the moment we're a little bit apart."
