Since the last time I talked to you we suffered our first loss of the season as we went down at Reading.

It was a strange game as we dominated and many who went to the game would even say we battered them, but things did not go our way and we had to take it on the chin.

In this league you never get a respite and we had Wolves at the weekend and although there was no real pressure, we felt it was ever so important for us to bounce back and thankfully we maintained our form as a team and sealed victory.

Following Wolves on Saturday, we knew we had a tough trip to Millwall. After a spot of light training we travelled down on Monday.

The gaffer made a few changes for the game and two of the players who came in - Vincent Pericard and Danny Webber did a great job and grabbed the goals which set up a wonderful win - to win 4-0 away from home is a great performance, let alone somewhere as hard to go to as Millwall.

Now the team's and my attentions turn to Friday evening when we face Leeds.

This game is a huge occasion for me as firstly I am from Leeds, as most of my family and friends are.

I was with Leeds from the age of 10 to 16 and obviously coming up against them is a really big thing for me.

Personally I have a great record against them, having played them three times in my career and won three times and I would really love for that to continue on Friday.

The game is live on Sky Sports which also means everyone gets the chance to see it and so that adds some extra importance.

And if we didn't need any extra spice - there is the Kevin Blackwell factor. Everybody at the club would love to be able to get one over on Kevin, likewise he will be desperate to make sure his old club do not - so I think it is all set up for a great Yorkshire derby.
