Birmingham boss Steve Bruce has insisted he has no plans to let Clinton Morrison leave.
The Republic of Ireland international has been linked with a possible move to Sheffield United in recent weeks.
Bruce has warned off any interested suitors as his attacking options are limited following the long-term injury to loan star Mikael Forssell.
St Andrews chief Bruce admitted he has had no contact with his Sheffield United counterpart Neil Warnock and even if he did he would tell him he was going nowhere.
"I have not spoken to Neil Warnock about it," said Bruce. "It's the first I've heard of it with you telling me about it!
"But they have no chance. It's as simple as that."
