Hull boss Steve Bruce expects Jack Hobbs to move to Nottingham Forest before the transfer deadline.
Wigan, Reading and Nottingham Forest have all had bids accepted for the 25-year-old defender, who was recently recalled from a loan spell at the City Ground.
"It's up to Jack," said Bruce. "The club has agreed a fee with three clubs, the rest is up to Jack. It's his call. I would think Forest, where he's been on loan and been captain, would be where he ends up."
Bruce confirmed that Jake Livermore will remain with Hull until the end of the season.
Tottenham were reported to be considering recalling Livermore, who has impressed for the Tigers since joining on loan last August, but Bruce is keeping hold of him and said City will not be bringing anyone else in before 11pm on Friday.
"We've done what we wanted to do. We've brought in the two strikers which was always our aim and I'm very pleased with what we've done so far. I couldn't have asked for any more. There will definitely be no more coming in."
