Kim scores his first international goals in comfortable victory

Kim Bo-Kyung scored twice for South Korea as they easily swept aside Lebanon in their World Cup qualifier in Goyang. The Cerezo Osaka winger had never scored for his country in 13 previous international appearances but gave South Korea the lead with a fierce strike from just inside the area after 29 minutes. The 22-year-old doubled the advantage early in the second half, finishing off a swift counter-attack that had begun with a Lebanon corner. Koo Ja-Cheol capitalised on a defensive mix-up to complete the scoring in the 89th minute. The win sends Choi Kang-Hee's men to the top of Asian qualifying Group A with two wins from two, while Lebanon slump to the bottom with just a point gained from their three games so far.
