Wigan teenager Nouha Dicko has joined Blackpool on loan for the rest of the season.
The French 19-year-old last summer arrived at the DW Stadium from Strasbourg and following his move has made a positive impact at development squad level.
Roberto Martinez has been impressed with what he has seen and in September gave Dicko his first-team debut against Crystal Palace.
The Wigan boss now wants the forward to continue his first-team progress and, as was the case with Callum McManaman, believes he will have more opportunities at Blackpool.
Martinez told Wigan's official website: "Blackpool is a team we know very well from the time Callum spent there, taking advantage of the experience.
"Now, Nouha is going to have the same opportunity and it's good news to have youngsters from the club going into the second half of the season playing competitive football progressing from reserve level."
