Striker set to join Latics on one-year loan move
Wigan are close to signing Egypt international striker Amr Zaki, according to the player's agent.
The Latics are set to complete a £1.5 million one-year-loan move for the player.
They would then have to pay an additional £4 million to secure his signature on a permanent basis the following season.
Zaki's agent Nader Shawki confirmed that the deal should be done soon.
Agreed loan
He told FilGoal: "Zamalek agreed to loan Zaki for one year in a deal worth £1.5 million, he should sign soon.
"If Wigan want him on a permanent basis, they will have to play an additional £4 million next season."
Shawki also revealed that the Egyptian club will receive £500,000 if the player reaches a ten-goal haul with Wigan next term.
