Latics boss happy to retain unsettled striker

Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce sees no reason why Senegal striker Henri Camara cannot have a future at the club. Bruce took charge of The Latics in November, but has not seen Camara in action as he was already on loan at West Ham. Camara admitted his Upton Park experience turned into somewhat of a nightmare after making just three Premier League starts for the club.

Talks

Bruce has now admitted he would like to sit down with Camara, stating that if he wants to stay at The JJB then that option is available. "Since becoming manager here I've never clapped eyes on Henri because he was at West Ham," he told the Wigan Evening Post. "If needs be, he can come back here. Henri is a player I've always quite liked, but obviously I've not seen him here. "We'll see what happens over the summer and take things from there."
