Midfielder keen to stay at Wigan until the end of the season

Wigan midfielder Denny Landzaat has confirmed his intention of staying at the club until the end of the season despite interest from Ajax. Landzaat began his professional career with the Dutch side and they had expressed strong interest in taking back him to Holland. The 31-year-old has made 17 appearances for Wigan this season and has now recovered fully from a fractured eye socket. The Dutch international joined the Latics nearly two seasons ago and feels that he owes a lot to new manager Steve Bruce. "I don't want to think about other clubs. New boss Steve Bruce has faith in me and that means a lot," he told The Sun.
