Wigan defender Arjan De Zeeuw has shelved all thoughts of retirement.
The Dutchman is well into the autumn of his career with his 37th birthday looming, but he claims his body is telling him not to hang up his boots just yet.
De Zeeuw claims he has set his sights on forging a career in medicine when he retires, but is looking to extend his stay at The JJB first.
He said: "I'll be 37 in April but I think I can keep going for another season after this one - the medicine can wait."
The Latics have recalled keeper Mike Pollitt from a loan spell at Burnley as Chris Kirkland is struggling with a shoulder injury.
