Wigan Athletic manager Paul Jewell praised striker Nathan Ellington for his spectacular winner at Coventry City.
The former Bristol Rovers hit-man struck a sublime right foot volley for a 2-1 win to take The Latics back to the top of The Championship on goal difference.
The former Bradford City and Sheffield Wednesday manager says his side are determined to put last year's disappointment of missing the play-offs right by claiming promotion.
"It was a great goal to win us the game," stated Jewell. "The goal he scored - he has got that in his locker.
"I do like to see him get tap-ins as well!
"I said [to the players] - 'We are playing for big stakes here'.
"I said 'Remember how it felt last year'."
