Wrexham ace Carlos Edwards has pledged his future to the Welsh outfit after being linked with moves to Division One hopefuls Wigan Athletic and Norwich City.

The 24-year-old has attracted the interest of a host of clubs after a string of impressive performances at the Racecourse Ground.

The Trinidad & Tobago star admitted he was flattered to be linked with some clubs, but insists that he is happy to stay at Wrexham as long as they want him.

"It's flattering and I've always wanted to go as high as possible for myself and my family, but I'm completely happy at Wrexham," Edwards told the Daily Post.

"The rumours are not affecting me. I'll stay here as long as they want me.

"There's always going to be speculation when you're playing well, but all I care about at the moment is waking Wrexham out of their slumber."
