WIGAN moved a step closer to winning the Division Two title with a narrow 1-0 win at Queens Park Rangers.
Top scorer Nathan Ellington grabbed the all-important goal on 47 minutes to send Paul Jewell's men 12 points clear at the top of the table.
Crewe moved back into second spot with a superb 4-0 win at Luton.
