The Northern Ireland international keeper performed superbly for Wigan last season, and his efforts established him in Sammy McIlroy`s national squad, as well as alerting a number of Premiership teams to his talents.
One of the most persistent links has been with Peter Taylor`s Leicester, and former Bradford boss Jewell believes that Carroll could be on his way to Filbert Street.
"I heard he`s going to Leicester, so it looks like he will be going," Jewell conceded.
"I don`t know too much about it. I`ll try and find out the facts and see what`s happening."
