Fulham plan to offer teenage winger Patrick Roberts a new contract amid interest from the Premier League.
Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are among the clubs linked with the highly-rated 18-year-old, who has a year left on his current deal.
"Pat will be offered a new contract," said Whites boss Kit Symons.
"We will look to tie up our best young players. He's a fantastic prospect."
Roberts has made just four substitute appearances since the turn of the year, with Fulham still not mathematically safe from relegation.
Symons explained: "It's a little bit early for him to play Championship football in the position we're in.
"He's a sensible lad. He wants to play, of course he does, I'd be a bit worried if he didn't. But he understands the situation and the predicament of the club.
"There's no reason other than me picking a team to get the results which will keep us in this division, then we can build for next season."
